How to Live Until Jesus Comes. Because, as Christians, we are strangers in a strange land (1 Pet 1:1), and because we have been born again (vs 3), and because we sometimes endure suffering (vs 6), the Apostle Peter tells us how to live until Jesus comes again (Act 1:10-11). We find from his instructions that God is concerned with more than just our outward behavior (flesh). He is concerned with our thought life (mind), our affections (will), and our relationships (emotions) – the soul of a man or woman. It’s only when all of these are submitted to the Father, through the power of the Holy Spirit, that we can truly be the part of the Body of Christ that is making a difference in our world.
