Grace and Guts:  Is it really possible that these two things can exist together?  Yes, I believe it is!  While this may at first seem confusing and contrary to modern Christian thought, for the genuine believer in and follower of Christ, it is imperative for the health of his or her Christian walk.  There are times in our dealings with others that we must show grace and other times when we must have guts.  Being gracious will help us avoid many confrontations, but there are others that we must confront.  The Christian will only do this correctly when he or she possesses grace and guts in equal measure.  While we must rarely let winning the argument be more important than winning the person, there are actually times when the issue at stake is more important than the people involved.  Choose your battles wisely.
