Right Relationships. How long have you been serving the Lord now? One year? Two? Many more than that? Whatever the length of your Christian walk, you are sure to have found out by now that there are challenges along the way. Many of those challenges come in the form of interpersonal relationships. We say that our relationship with God is great and yet we find it difficult to get along with our brother or sister. Scripture is clear in its contention that we cannot honestly say we love God while there are glaring gaps in our relationships with others (1 Joh 4:20-21). Besides, how will we ever love (and reach) our enemies if we can’t even genuinely love our Christian brothers and sisters (Mat 5:44; Luk 6:27)? If you’ve got a problem in a relationship with one of your brothers and/or sisters today, go HUMBLY today and be reconciled to that person (Mat 5:23). Only then will your relationship with the Father be what He desires it to be.
