Ministry…Growth…Organization!  I am happy to tell you today that we have been experiencing significant growth…both spiritually and numerically.  The spiritual growth is a direct result of sound Biblical teaching and preaching, coupled with a genuine thirst for the presence of God in praise and worship.  The numerical growth is the product of your unconditional love and acceptance of others, and a general sense of excitement in the church.  Oftentimes, it is in times of growth like these that challenges come.  This was true of the early New Testament Church.  In Acts 6:1-7, we see the church growing so fast that a danger arose of things being neglected.  Organization was necessary to ensure people were cared for and the Word of God was prepared for.  I believe we have such a challenge before us today.  The demands of family, work and church have made it challenging to care for people and prepare for preaching.  The early church remedied this with the selection of seven men to assist in caring for people while the preachers prayerfully preached; the church overcame the challenge and continued to grow.  Today, we choose four men to assist the pastor in caring for people.  May we choose as wisely and prayerfully as they did and may our results be as tremendous as were theirs.  God bless you!
