“God Sent His Son”  As we draw nearer to Christmas morning our hearts and minds become more focused on the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is the time that we celebrate the fact that God sent His Son. Because God the Father sent the Son, we have been redeemed from the law and adopted as sons and daughters of God (Gal. 4:4-5). Because He sent His Son, we can live through Jesus Christ and experience the fullness of the love of God the Father (1 Joh 4:9). Yes, Christmas is the time we remember that God sent His Son into the world to save lost sinners and the world has never been the same since. From Betty and me, Merry Christmas to you all!
